COVID-19 Policies and Guidelines

With the current world-wide focus on COVID 19 and its implications, we take our responsibility for yours and our safety very seriously. Following is a list of our current protocols put in place to help ensure your safety and comfort while at the same time providing our usual standards of excellence during your visit. Our goal is for us all (guests & hosts) to respect the processes and protocols while ensuring a warm and welcoming B&B experience.

Booking Flexibility

If you have made your reservation directly with us you can take comfort knowing you may cancel up to 48 hours in advance of your stay, allowing you (and us) to make changes in this evolving COVID-19 situation.

If your reservation is through an OTA such as Expedia or, cancellations will need to be done directly with them according to their policies and conditions.

Cancellation Policy:

For direct bookings (via phone, email or website) we offer a 48 hour cancellation option. All other bookings will be subject to the 7 day cancellation policy as stated on the booking agent's website. 

Please note that if there is a need to cancel due to national or area lockdown we will refund the deposit in full. However, if the cancellation is due to you becoming ill with COVID or you are required to self isolate then this can be covered by your own travel insurance should it fall outside the stated cancellation period

Check-in and Check-out

Our regular check in time of 4 -6pm is still the norm, however we will attempt to narrow down to a more specific arrival time so as to eliminate the arrival of several guests at once.

Check out time has been changed to 10am in order to allow extra time for cleaning


Guest will be asked to leave outdoor shoes in the front hallway on arrival.

Wearing of Masks will be required in all areas of the house outside of your room.  Before travelling to us you will be sent a short health questionnaire to complete. In addition, you can also take the self-assessment test at any time at:

We ask that you do not travel to us if you are feeling unwell. Should you become ill during your visit, you will need to determine if you are exhibiting any signs of Covid-19 such as:

  • Severe difficulty breathing; Severe chest pain; Having a very hard time waking up; Feeling confused; Losing consciousness
  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Runny nose
  • Headache

Should you identify with 2 or more of these symptoms, you will be required to self-isolate and we will contact the local Health Authority for all further direction.

We appreciate that some of you may be visiting family/friends in the area however, non- registered guests are not permitted in the house at this time.

Cleaning Protocols

We have put additional protocols in place in addition to our already stringent cleaning practices, including regular sanitizing of high-touch public areas as well as deeper cleaning of guest rooms after departure. Hand sanitizers will be out in public areas but we strongly encourage you to also travel with your own supply.

Food & Beverage Services

As we are known for our spectacular breakfasts here at 4 Beaches B&B, we will continue to offer breakfast service in the mornings as well as a take-out packed breakfast option.

Breakfast service is offered 8 – 9am and can be enjoyed in the guest dining area or on the rear patio table (weather permitting). Room service is not available. Food preparation and service is done with full safety precautions.

The coffee & Tea station and small fridge in the guest lounge will not be available at this time. 

Hot Tub Spa

The hot tub  is now available for guest use, however it is restricted to one guest room using it at a time, between 6 pm and 9pm
